It’s never too early or too late to C.A.R.E
The Mission of our C.A.R.E program is to promote a continuous and efficient, team rehabilitation environment that enables amputees to safely reach their goals in the shortest period of time. C.A.R.E stands for Comprehensive Amputee Rehabilitation Environment. We have divided this program into 5 steps:
Step 1: Early Intervention: At ProCare, we have a team dedicated solely to early intervention and patient education. We want our patient equipped with the knowledge to make these lifelong decisions on their own.
Step 2: Intra- Operative Care: Our team is credentialed to be in the OR and apply a protective device as soon as the surgery has been completed for your comfort and maximized protection.
Step 3: Post-Operative Care: We work with our patients family and nurses to ensure they are on track to be fitted as soon as possible and let them know they will not be on this journey alone.
Step 4: Team Rehabilitation: We work very closely with therapists and rehab facilities, both in-patient and out-patient.
Step 5: Success!: We love nothing more than to see our patients reach there goals and succeed. At this stage, you are no longer seen as patient, your family!
